Fred Amrein MBA, ChFC
Fred is the founding principal of Amrein Financial, a Pennsylvania
Registered Investment Advisory firm. As an independent, fee-only
financial advisor, he provides financial advice and education to families
and individuals.
Fred earned a MBA in Finance and Bachelor of Science degree with
dual majors in Accounting and Marketing from Saint Joseph’s
University. Fred is a nationally recognized expert in college funding and
the financial aid process. He also holds the Chartered Financial
Consultant (ChFC) designation from the American College in Bryn
Mawr.
As an adviser, educator, speaker and writer, Fred works to educate his
clients and the public on various personal financial issues. He has been
quoted in the Wall Street Journal, BusinessWeek and other national
publications. In addition he speaks to different organizations regarding
strategies on funding education, retirement planning and investments.
These are topics that are a growing concern for parents and
grandparents. He also writes a free newsletter regarding these topics.
When not assisting his clients, Fred enjoys his family time with his wife
and three daughters. He is an active member of his church, has
participated on various community boards and enjoys watching his
daughters’ sporting events. Fred also likes a good tennis match or a
relaxing round of golf.
